About these stories

This page collects the BI projects we ran together with our clients, written out from the initial question to the result. Different sectors, different challenges, different starting points.

Each story describes what the question was, how we approached it and what it delivered, largely in the client’s own words. That gives a concrete picture of what working together actually looks like.

What these projects have in common

The organizations differ, and so do the questions. The approach does not. Three things come back in every project:

  • 1

It starts with a decision, not a dashboard

The first question is never what the report should look like, but which decision needs to get better, faster or sharper. Without that answer you build a screen nobody opens twice.

  • 2

The first working version is there within one to two weeks

So you find out early whether the direction is right, instead of six months in. Whatever turns out not to work, you learn while there is still room to change course.

  • 3

We train your own team to get real use out of it

While we build, your colleagues look along: how the model fits together, where the numbers come from and how to add something yourself. That is when a project has succeeded: not when the dashboard is finished, but when it is genuinely being used.

What kind of organizations do you work with?

We have experience with different kinds of organizations: SMEs, large enterprises and non-profits. From a telecom provider like VodafoneZiggo to care, industry and professional services. Clients include WSD, Poetszorg, ONE HUNDRED, Ostseestaal, KOMA, Kubus, Naish, Nimbus, iPM Partners, PLTFRM and Poly Systems.

When did these projects run?

The VodafoneZiggo project ran in 2024 and the ONE HUNDRED project in 2025. Since we started in 2023 we have completed more than 20 BI projects; two of those are written out on this page.

What if our situation does not look like these stories?

That is the rule rather than the exception: the organizations, the sectors and the starting points in these stories differ widely. What stays the same is where we begin: with the decision that has to get better, faster or sharper, not with the dashboard. If you recognise that question, the story around it matters less than it looks.

How do you measure whether a BI project delivered?

Against the decision the project started with, not the number of dashboards. We agree up front which decision has to get better, faster or sharper, and test against that afterwards. The second test is whether your own team is still using the dashboard months later and extending it themselves.
